About Next Level Performance
The Next Level Performance training facility is located in Golden, CO and specializes in sport-specific athletic training. From preseason preparation, in-season maintenance, and injury rehabilitation, it is our goal to identify and correct individual structural imbalances and weaknesses for each athlete.
Each Next Level client participates in a fitness program that is specifically designed for their needs. Our systems help reduce the risk of injury, drastically improve performance, and virtually eliminate plateaus in speed and strength building. No matter your current level of training, age or gender, Next Level Performance will work with you to optimize your natural athletic abilities.
The staff at Next Level has a unique blend of formal education, thousands of hours of research, top certifications, and most importantly, experience with athletes from many different sports and backgrounds.
Our training methods, nutrition plans, knowledge, and attention to detail are unmatched in the industry.
Next Level is not your typical training facility. Equipped with an indoor field, and rugged atmosphere, you’ll find that there are no limitations to the personal training goals you desire.

Next Level Performance offers the following services in one on one, small group, or team packages:
- Structural Balance and Functional Movement Screen Evaluations
- Strength training for Size, Speed, and/or Power
- Speed and agility training
- Plyometric training
- Sport specific energy system work (conditioning)
- Nutritional counseling
- Body composition analysis
- Injury prevention
We also offer one on one and small group packages for those who are not involved in a formal sport, for all ages.
Owner, Head Strength Coach
Brian graduated from the University of Kansas in 1998, with a bachelors of science degree in Exercise Science. He then attained his strength and condition certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2000, Brian earned the head trainer position at Lawrence Athletic Club, where he was in charge of educating new employees in the basics of personal training and strength coaching. In 2001, he moved to Denver, Colorado where he began studying and interning under the world renown strength coach Charles Poliquin, as well as local NFL combine preparation specialist, Jim Warren. In 2002, Brian founded Next Level Performance to finally put his education and experience into practice, producing two collegiate All-Americans in the first year of operation. In addition, Brian has served as a performance based seminar speaker, consulted for individual NBA off-season training programs, is Poliquin theory 1 and 2 certified, and has amassed thousands of hours of research time in the exercise science field.
